A conversation with Bruce Lourie. Part 2 of 3: Fat and toxins.

Did you know that studies have linked some toxins to weight gain? Endocrine-disrupting chemicals like those found in the Teflon that coats your favorite frying pan can fundamentally alter how our bodies develop—including an alarming link to childhood obesity. A majority of synthetic chemicals are also lipophilic, meaning they’re prone to storing in fat.
